I want to share some exciting news with you. My focus has always been not only to provide, but also to raise the bar on the quality of information that is available to pregnant women. I applaud all the health care professionals who work so diligently to provide solid, sensible and accurate information about having a baby here in the U.S. in the 21st century.
Earlier this week, I had such a great experience. A woman came into the hospital, in labor, actually carrying a copy of the book. My book. I said hello to her and she looked at me with a funny expression and as I looked back at her, it clicked. We had a really nice moment where I was able to express my gratitude for her finding the book to be something she wanted to have so close with her. It felt really, really good.
I am finally back in the loop. What with vacation in a “non-tech” environment, changes at Harvard Common Press’s big blog server in the sky and my own personal computer upgrades, I have been away from the keyboard. Now back at 100%.
